Joe Boo invited me to attend a taping of Top Chefs: Just Desserts and I had no reason to say no. I broke my own self-imposed law of NEVER SIGN A PERSONAL RELEASE FORM for a reality show... because of my newly discovered sweet tooth. A tooth I should probably request that my dentist remove.
Let me tell you, the experience was completely worth it for entertainment purposes alone, and when it came to the desserts we judged, that offered even more entertainment.
I don't think I am legally allowed to share any more of what I saw/did (I obviously didn't read the two page size 6 fonted release I willingly signed) , so I will have to resist the temptation to dish all*. (*lazy pun)
What I can include is that the shoot is taking place a block away from my Dad's office at Sci-Arc and Joe/Meg/I popped over for a quick tour and hello. Love me some Sci-Arc!
That's cool. Where you judging? or just tasting the extras? Was it a big group of chefs, or have they been whittled down to just a few?
