Met Christian at Le Bain for its soft opening... They were debuting the new crepe stand. As my dad coins the phrase, " we rented our table." one drink after the next, we passed hours catching up with legs kicked up looking at the sky scrapery.

When I am in Little Tokyo, I have to do two things:

1- buy a mochi ice cream ball for $1.25. Today I got a cookies and cream one. Strongly recommended

2- pop into the Japanese boutiques, and shop for random items like banana protectors and items with entertaining "Eng-rish" spellings

The pretty pretty collective is located in the mission and on one of my days off I decided I would go in for a little cut & color.

Working on a show about tattoo artists inspires me to do something crazy and different....like ask the stylist to alter the color of my hair... Ever so slightly. I'm so cutting edge and a risk taker like that.


Back to the story at hand. My hipster friend recommended this salon and needless to say it was perfect. The walls were covered in tattoo art....

I decided to take a photo to share with one of the tattoo artists at high voltage, as he has a very similar artistic style. I figured he might be interested to see similar artistry....

So upon returning to work, I was flipping through INKed magazine and the last page had an article featuring the new salon.... PPC!!!

Apparently my eye was a keen one... As the art I took a photo was in fact the tattoo artist I was going to show.

I love this place enough to frequent every time I am in SF.


It's French food for beginners.... Those croissants, bring me to my knees.



I fill a plate up with the obligatory sweet accessories: nutella and jams. I purchase a baguette to dip and dive into the sugary pools.

I drove all the way down from misty SF to sunny LA, so I could see that spring had actually sprung.


The Easter bunny came and left a bunch of goodies.....including wine, pie, espadrilles,


And a $15 loaf of bread.

What this bar lacked in quality patrons, it made up for in it's amazing ceiling lighting and musical accompaniment.



I'll take a crowd of douches for a nicely mixed cocktail and passion pit remix. I can just keep myself occupied looking up at the twinkling chandeliers.

And wish upon a chandelier that my dream man walks through the bar doors....

Took a day trip out to Napa, just to get my drink on... As if my liver hadn't suffered enough from my week in SF.


I forgot how stunning the landscape is, perfect for a bottle of vino. Marissa kindly offered to chauffeur... I kindly played the role of Miss Daisy.

I love being in a city, not my own, and discovering a local coffee shop where, if I lived there, I would settle in and have a latte and read a book....




I became pretty friendly with the Barista. Who knows, I am open to a move.
