FOUND: literati in downtown

Pete & Daren treated me to a fundraising fete for the LA public Library.


There were some special guests who read from their favorite books- Sarah Silverman read some e.e. And Demitri Martin read the Dictionary.... And Russell Brand read Oscar Wilde...

All of the comedians were spectacular, but I was most impressed by Henry Rollins... What a presence.... I was blown away.


I think this was the first time I was in a library where it was ok to eat and drink. It felt wrong and yet, so right.
