I don't understand. What are notes? Please enlighten your non-industry friend.
ReplyDeleteThe network watches various cuts of the show- from rough cut to final cut and they want us to adjust certain elements before they air the episode. Typical notes are: you need to set up that character better, is there a better camera angle when the girl gets punched on the face... or music is wrong when the syrup pours onto the pancake...
ReplyDeleteProducers are given notes, we work with the editor to get them done- then we redeliver the show, when we are given more notes.
