Katie and I kindly accepted Pete's offer to attend the JC Cinco De Mayo beach party with him last Saturday. It was a delightful evening that included ice luges, bull riding, dancing, 2 full mexican grill spreads, sumo wrestlers?, fire pits... but I have to say... it was the 9 piece Mariachi band & mai-tai awaiting my arrival that really set the night off on the right foot. Ran into old friends, made some new ones... and to me, that is a sign that I am at the right party.
Cut To; End of party: Katie & I walk the barely lit bike path back to the Dirty 30's, chortling arm in arm and reliving all that just took place. Good Times...
